Had a great new year break! The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed, including powerful showers and a perfect heating system. The hosts were welcoming and left us delicious homemade scones. The village was safe and had a close-knit community. A tea room next door was a bonus. The location was quiet and ideal for visiting both the city and the beautiful East Yorkshire scenery.
The nearest park and ride was a 25-minute drive away, which was a bit inconvenient. We also had to request longer heating hours due to having a baby.

The beautiful property had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with thoughtful touches throughout. The rooms were immaculate and stylish, and the bathrooms were modern and spotless. We loved that there were board games for both the kids and adults, as well as a selection of reading materials. Our hosts were friendly and attentive, providing us with helpful recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay as a family.
For dads, it would be great to have a larger outdoor play area for the children.
